	Grade I Chinese Class Textbooks: Zhong Wen (Chinese) Volume I & II This course is designed for students who can read Pin Yin fluently and know some Chinese characters. This course will continue to improve the students' ability to use Pin Yin to pronounce Chinese characters. Students are expected, by the end of the course, to read and write up to 200-300 Chinese characters. They are expected to use in the daily life the words they have learned and to make simple sentences. Basic requirements: Students can read and write Pin Yin, master four tunes, and pronounce Chinese characters in Pin Yin correctly.
